After Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam announces that Verizon will gain the Palm Pre smartphone in “the next six months or so,” Sprint come back to confirm that they will have the Palm Pre through 2009 reports smartmoney.
James Fisher, a spokesman for Sprint has said “We have the Pre through 2009.”
So, if McAdam does mean Verizon will get the Palm Pre in six months from when it launches on Sprint on June the 6th, this would mean Verizon would get the Pre in December, which is still in 2009, no? So either Verizon isn’t getting the Pre in 6 months or Sprint doesn’t have exclusivity for all of 2009, right?
