Do not install Apple iTunes 8.2, we have already told you about the new and available iTunes 8.2 and it seems that iPhone-Dev Team are warning people.
Are you familiar with iPhone jailbreaking? Well if you are you really need to start thinking, it seems like it has but @MuscleNerd claims it is unintentional on Apple’s part according to iPhone Blog. The all new iTunes 8.2 update does indeed change the way your PC talks to the device; such as the iPhone and that it could affect things like QuickPwn and PwnageTool when trying to identify what device is connected.
Apparently ssh over usb breaks due to same reasons, there are fixes in the works but according to the source above you should avoid 8.2. So if you wish to jailbreak just stay away from iTunes 8.2.
