The latest word according to a solid source of engadget mobile is that AT&T will be dropping the price on 2 of their BlackBerry smartphone models as of today.
Apparently AT&T will cut the price on the BlackBerry Curve 8900 which was offered at $199.99 and is now offered for $149.99, and the BlackBerry Bold which commanded $299.99 and is now just $199.99.
The word is that these new BlackBerry prices are for a limited period only, however, due to the economic state and other competitors dropping prices to gain sales it wouldn’t surprise me if these type of prices stay for a while.
