Under: Mobile Phones
Date: June 12th, 2009

The Palm Pre has been released on the Sprint network and Sprint say it managed to unlock the Palm Pre’s true potential courtesy of Sprint’s nationwide 3G network and connectivity to “America’s most dependable 3G network” reports softpedia.

President and Chief Exec of Sprint, Dan Hesse has said the “Palm Pre is the coming out party for the new Sprint – the perfect device to show how far our networks have come.”

Sprint says the Sprint 3G Network offers faster speeds than AT&T’s 3G network and furthermore covers 20 times the area that T-Mobile’s 3G network covers bases on square miles and Sprint is also the first carrier to offer wireless 4G connectivity.
