2009 Battle: New iPhone 3GS vs Nokia N97

As we know, the new iPhone 3G S will be with us shortly, but Nokia has recently launched the Nokia N97 smartphone, which could well be an iPhone challenger.

The examiner takes a look at some facts which may place the Nokia N97 as a contender against the iPhone 3G S…Nokia owns Symbian which has the largest share of the mobile operating system market at 36%. Symbian shipments were 18 million in Q1 of 09.

The Nokia N97 features live video streaming whereas the iPhone doesn’t even have built in flash yet. Although when it comes to mobile applications then the iPhone does slap Nokia hard.

There is a video available to view by following the link. Personally I think the Nokia N97 is a cool handset but then so is the iPhone 3G S, so let battle commence.

N97 may have all the best features, but iPhone definitely has the best, most real interface. And kicks ass in terms of developer contributions and downloads (ie., the App Store :P)
Just my two cents worth 😀

  2. N97 VS IPHONE …..

N97 GOT TO SAY IT’S BETTER BECAUSE OF THE LIVE STREAM EVEN THO IPHONE HAS BETTER APP’S BUT FORGET THE APP’S IT’S ALL ABOUT THE LIVE STREAM N TING!

    10/10 N97..

iPhone has live video streaming since day one.. Where did you get this info from?? It only doesn’t support Flash, but you can definitely watch live video on it!!!

  4. JOSH says:

the iphone wins hands down no one has the time to use the live video streaming on either device anyway but what you can’t beat is the app store if you have a need there is an app for it 99% of the time. everything from where the nearest gas station is to what’s the score in the wimbledon final. That is why the iphone is the best phone in the world no matter what its competitors specs are the app store is the clincher.
