Thinking of getting a new iPhone 3G S, and want to shift your old iPhone? Well according to a report on Pocket-lint, the Carphone Warehouse has announced they are to offer caskback for old iPhone handsets.

So what does Carphone Warehouse offer for an old iPhone? For a 1st generation, any capacity Apple iPhone they will pay £100, for the 8GB iPhone 3G they will hand over £170, and for a 16GB iPhone 3G they will cough up £180.

Although to get the 8GB and 16GB iPhone 3G payout the owner will need to have bought out of their existing O2 agreement. The word is, although not fully clear, is that customer’s can sell their iPhones via the Carphone Warehouse website.
