The word is that Sony Ericsson is holding a new special event tomorrow the 17th of June according to an article over on mobilewhack.

There are no details on what Sony Ericsson is planning for this event but no doubt they will probably launch at least one new mobile phone ahead of the CommunicAsia 2009 event.

The Sony Ericsson special event has been scheduled to start at 4:30PM Singapore time, and who knows, maybe they will officially launch that rumoured Sony Ericsson Xperia X2, or perhaps unveil new smartphones we have yet to see.
