It seems the Carphone Warehouse isn’t doing too badly as Cellular News reports a large jump in full year profit leaping up from £73 million last year to a staggering £550 million this year.

The main reason for such a large jump is put down to the sale of their retail business, as the company is now in 2 parts. The retail part being Best Buy Eurpoe while the fixed line telephony and broadband TalkTalk being the other part.

An impressive boost in profits but not indicative of any regular profits, but nonetheless still profit, and a sign the Carphone Warehouse is good at what they do. No doubt more profit will be garnered with the iPhone 3G S.
