Garmin-Asus to switch from Linux to Android and Windows Mobile

The Garmin-Asus nuvifone M20 and G60, what an evasive mobile phone it is. It seems like we have been waiting years for this handset to finally hit the public arena, but now according to an article on asia.cnet, Garmin-Asus say both handsets will be available in the 2nd half of this year.

Garmin-Asus also announced that any future mobile phone will no longer use Linux but instead will support the Android platform and Windows Mobile platform.

Hektor Tung, Garmin-Asus regional director for Southeast Asia sales, has said they will also unveil their first Android based handset at the end of the year.
