The Toshiba TG01 smartphone has now become available in Japan as the NTT DoCoMo T-01A according to a report over on engadget mobile.

The NTT DoCoMO T-01A is still the same Toshiba TG01 which packs a 4.1 inch WVGA resistive touch screen, the ultra fast Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon chipset, HSDPA, WiFI, GPS, and the Toshiba custom user interface.

Always amazes me that it takes so long for a handset like the Toshiba TG01 to hit its home turf, but now that it has finally hit Japan maybe it will debut in Europe and elsewhere in the near future.
