According to a post by palminfocenter, Sprint has now announced they are taking orders for the Palm Pre through their telesales department.

Apparently the Sprint announcement came via Sprint’s Twitter account, and the Sprint Palm Pre page is now displaying a note which says…”To order your Palm Pre today, please call 1-866-866-7509″

However, for whatever reason, online ordering of the Palm Pre is still unavailable, but going via the telesales route Sprint says wait times for shipping are currently 5 to 7 business days, so if you go that route you could have your Palm Pre within a week.
