It appears that some clever tech hacker has managed to port the Google Android Platform over to the Samsung Omnia i900 smartphone according to a report on androidcommunity.

Don’t get too thrilled about it though as this is still very much in the development stage and apparently is experiencing quite a few touch problems such as freezing or complete screen blackouts along with missing hardware functionality.

So basically the hacker has managed a boot up of Android on the Samsung Omnia i900, which is still a bit of progress isn’t it.
