Nokia Ovi, they now want Internet Market

Nokia, although a world leader in the mobile phone market is moving beyond the mobile arena into the internet services arena according to an article on the Jakarta post.

Apparently Nokia has realised they can no longer rely on mobile phones, and thus become part of the internet world as it is impossible to announce new handsets every day. However by working closely with application developers, partners and content providers new mobile applications could be offered everyday.

Nokia’s internet plan centres on Nokia Ovi whereby Nokia’s “umbrella concept” internet service will enable customers to access social networking websites, communities, and blogs from one location.
