So you’ve decided not to upgrade to the iPhone 3GS but have installed iPhone OS 3.0 on your iPhone 2G, and would like some MMS action, well thanks to hackint0sh, you can.
Here is how to make MMS work on an iPhone 2G with iPhone OS 3.0 firmware installed…install copy mms2g.deb to iPhone in folder such as /yar/root…next, in the same folder, in terminal input: dpkg –i mms2g.deb…next, reboot.
Conversely, extract files from Patch.zip to iPhone, to folders same as archive, for CommCenter chmod 755…now reboot…
In settings adjust apn, user, password. Apparently this does work so try it out.
