According to a post on wmpoweruser, an Amazon job posting may signify a relationship with the Windows Mobile platform, as Amazon may be looking to expand to other platforms.
Microsoft Windows Mobile hasn’t yet garnered any attention from Amazon’s Kindle like the Kindle application for the iPhone, or the Amazon MP3 store on Android.
But the job posting looks like Amazon is attempting to recruit software and mobile engineers to release a program to deliver an e-book reader to Windows Mobile users. However, Amazon is keeping silent as to whether this rumour is true or not.
