Google does U-Turn on Exchange and Google Logo?

Google does U-Turn on Exchange and Google Logo?

Under: Google Android, Other Mobile Phones
Date: July 8th, 2009

When HTC unveiled their HTC Magic, HTC stated any Android handset that had a customised build and including Microsoft Exchange, as per Google rules, must drop the “with Google” Logo, and this has happened with all international Android handsets with Exchange.

However, engadget mobile is reporting that now it looks like the T-Mobile myTouch 3G has Exchange and the “with Google” logo, so has Google done a u-turn?

Apparently they spoke with Google who say that it has “never been Google’s policy” to deprive their branded phones of Exchange, and if other manufacturers wish to add Exchange and keep the “with Google” logo that is no problem.
