With the Palm Pre expected to hit O2 UK and be on store shelves “in time for the holidays” there should be quite a Christmas battle between the Palm Pre and the iPhone 3GS for all that Christmas revenue.
The Independent reports that Gartner analyst Carolina Milanesi predicts the Christmas confrontation between the Palm Pre and iPhone will be the most competitive Christmas sales battle for years.
While the principal analyst at Ovum, Tony Cripps has commented that the United States has a “residual love” of Palm and hopes the Palm will succeed. However, there will be more of a battle in Europe where Palm is not as well known for mobile phones.
