T-Mobile UK has finally confirmed that the all new HTC Hero is indeed the T-Mobile G2 Touch Google Phone.

The G2 Touch is apparently set for release later on this month but no one knows the real price or tariff charges yet, this information has yet to be officially announced. The G2 Touch will be available with Orange as well as T-Mobile who will be calling it the HTC Hero; it will come in an exclusive graphite finish.

The Hero will be available for free to all new Orange customers as part of a 2-year contract with the network; the T-Mobile G2 Touch will also be available for free to new customers on an 18-month contract on the Flext tariff priced at £40 per month.
