If you fancy owning a Verizon Wireless branded RIM BlackBerry Storm now is the time to grab one as due to the BlackBerry Storm2 soon to be hitting Verizon, they have now decided to drop the price on the original handset according to an article on engadget mobile.

Obviously Verizon Wireless is hoping to shift some inventory to make room for the new Storm and so they have lowered the price of the BlackBerry Storm 9530 to $99.99 on contract.

As they say, any reduction is a good reduction so if you fancy some of that SurePress touch screen action then go get it at a reduced price, or you could hold out for the new BlackBerry Storm2 of course.
