iPhone prototype worker commits suicide confirms Apple

Sad news is hitting the net waves of a 25 year old Sun Danyong a worker at Foxconn committed suicide last week after a 4th generation Apple iPhone prototype went missing. Foxconn produces all iPhone models for Apple and the prototype was one of 16 iPhones the 25 year old was responsible for reports venturebeat.

The word is the guy’s apartment was illegally searched and he was interrogated and physically abused by other Foxconn employees.

Apple, although not confirming that the disappearance of the iPhone prototype was the cause has corroborated the death and has stated Apple is “saddened by the tragic loss of this young employee, and we are awaiting results of the investigations into his death. We require our suppliers to treat all workers with dignity and respect.”
