Another US carrier is apparently joining the Android platform craze according to an article on Intomobile, and that carrier is Cellular South.

The word is Cellular South has announced they will offer an Android based smartphone sometime later this year although no other details were given.

However, Cellular South COO, Kevin Hankins has stated they are excited to provide their customers with the diversity of new apps fuelled by the Android open source platform. So we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more info on handset, intro date, manufacturer and pricing.
