TerreStar has now completed their testing of a couple of slim “TerreStar Satellite/Terrestrial” smartphone in an end to end test call routed through the TS-1 communications satellite launched no so long ago reports windowsfordevices.

The new “Satellite/Terrestrial” smartphones have been manufactured by Elektobit and are Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional handsets with 2.6 inch touch screen, 3 megapixel camera, 3G, GPS, and WiFi and are 0.8 inch thick.

However that’s all that is known at this moment but TerreStar does plan on bring their service on line by the end of the year.
