iPhone 3GS hardware encryption useless for enterprise?

Apple is presently marketing the iPhone 3GS hardware level encryption for enterprise clients, but there is a slight problem as iPhone hackers seem to be having a great time rendering the encryption useless.

An article on wired reports that one iPhone developer that teaches courses on pulling data off iPhones says he doesn’t “think any of us have ever seen encryption implemented so poorly before.”

The iPhone dev also say that Research In Motion offers a far better wipe solution than Apple. This basically means that although the iPhone is a success across virtually every market, Apple is still the rookie in the enterprise segment.
