Qualcomm hit by $206 million fine over Exclusivity

With big companies like Qualcomm to get them to change anything you need to go for the pocket and hit them where it hurts, Qualcomm is no stranger to this type of legal action.

So they are being hit again as a report on Bloomberg has it that South Korea’s antitrust authorities have determined Qualcomm is guilty of some illicit goings on and have slammed a whopping $209 million fine on the company.

Qualcomm deals with mobile phone makers LG and Samsung, and the South Korean Agency claims Qualcomm offers better deals to companies which deal exclusively with Qualcomm and thus shuns any competition, of course Qualcomm denies the accusations.
