China Unicom exclusive rights to sell new iPhone 3GS

Reports from China’s own national new agency claims that China Unicorn have just secured a deal that’ll grant it exclusive rights to sell Apple’s smartphone in mainland China for three years.

Most of the finer details are missing but we have been led to believe that this will be the first ever iPhone sold with any branding outside of logos splashed on at Cupertino. It’s also unconfirmed whether this will be the iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS or if they will include the WiFi modules.

Its been said that Unicorn will be snapping the devices from Apple at a price of around 3,000 Chinese Yuan, or users have the opportunity to pay a lesser amount on contract Providing all goes well units should hit the shops in China as early as September.
