Verizon Wants Court Judgment on Their Advertising as Truthful

Verizon Wants Court Judgment on Their Advertising as Truthful

Under: Phone Business & Stocks
Date: July 28th, 2009

According to Reuters, Verizon Wireless has asked a US court to deliver a judgement that their adverts as “America’s Most Reliable 3G Network” are truthful. Verizon filed papers in the US District Court in Manhattan.

Back on July the 1st, AT&T Mobility made a challenge to Verizon Wireless by asserting Verizon’s advertising was false and couldn’t be supported.

Verizon Wireless confirms their claims that they have “America’s Most Reliable 3G Network, “America’s Best 3G Network, and “America’s Most Reliable Wireless network,” as truthful, substantiated and accurate, and thus does not violate the Lanham Act.
