What better way to launch a smartphone than to have a celebrity do it for you, and that is just what Research In Motion has done with the BlackBerry Tour.

According to an article on justjared, Gossip Girl, Chace Crawford stepped onto the black carpet at the launch of the RIM BlackBerry Tour on Sprint at Thomson Hotel LES New York City yesterday.

Although Chace wasn’t the only star to attend the BlackBerry Tour party as also seen were Brooke Shields, Olivia Palermo of The City and former co-star Erin Lucas, Mark Indelicato and Chloe Sevigny from Ugly Betty. Now I wonder if they all carry a BlackBerry Tour?
