Remember the rumours about the iPhone 3GS sporting a black bezel? Well it turned out that the iPhone 3GS didn’t get the black bezel but apparently wasn’t just a rumour.

According to an article over on Cnet Asia, the black bezel was and is for a Creative Zii Egg, a multi touch iPod touch type handset which runs the Google Android OS.

The Zii Egg does bare a remarkable resemblance to the black bezel iPhone images seen before the launch of the iPhone 3GS, which could mean it was simple labelled mistakenly in the first place, but now we know what that black bezel rumour was all about.
