It’s a real shame that this isn’t an out of the box feature, but some clever person has graced LG’s GD900 Crystal phone. The phone has a transparent keypad and a water resistant case that makes it ideal to take swimming with you.

The Crystal slider phone has a three inch touch screen, and the keypad lights up upon opening. The keypad has a touch sensitive controller which means you can move through menus use handwriting recognition and also browse the web.

Apparently the LG900 has the same S class interface used on the LG Arena, and the feedback from that was that the touch screen wasn’t as responsive and would have been expected. It has a pretty hefty price tag though suggested to be $899 which is even higher than the BL40 Chocolate. Source – engadgetmobile.com
