The popular Call of Duty franchise is being brought to the Apple iPhone courtesy of Activision reports Intomobile, with the first title designed as a companion for the blockbuster game and is called Call of Duty: World as War.
Call of Duty: World as War for the iPhone has been developed by Treyarch, although the iPhone application isn’t a game, but a tool for registering players and give them access to the latest news, tweets and blogs, along with performance and stat tracking.
Furthermore, Call of Duty: World as War for the iPhone allows linking with friends so you can follow their progress. This iPhone application will also be supported by a strong website delivering a varied range of stats and info.
