According to an article on the iphone blog, Apple is preparing iTunes 9 which apparently supports visual organising apps on the iPhone for playback of Blue-ray media.

More robust solutions via iTunes have been floating the net waves for some time and would be a welcomed addition. Steve Jobs has previously stated that Blu-ray is a “bag of hurt” due to licensing.

However changes in the licensing and maybe Apple’s priorities could make this happen. If Apple ids indeed reading to launch iTunes 9 it will probably be a September release; we have a video demo of app management in iTunes for your viewing pleasure below.
