SlingPlayer 1.1 for iPhone submitted with overseas 3G support

We all know that any iPhone application or iPhone app update submitted to the Apple iTunes App Store isn’t a sure fire bet to get accepted, but maybe Apple will approve a recently submitted version of SlingPlayer Mobile version 1.1 reports engadget mobile.

SlingPlayer Mobile 1.1 adds true 16:9 widescreen support which stretched across the entire screen. Furthermore Slingbox users with DISH network can navigate a touch supported native browser rather than push though the TV standard browsing screen being streamed in.

Good news for those in the USA, but SlingPlayer Mobile has also submitted a version for overseas which apparently allows streaming over 3G; let’s just hope it gains Apple approval.
