Pointless iPhone App: A Virus Protection Mask

Okay it seems things just go too far with iPhone applications. I know there is a worry about swine flu and all that but the iPhone application “A Virus Protection Mask,” simply takes the biscuit.

An article on Cnet reports that this iPhone application is available from the Apple iTunes App Store and actually costs 99 cents although normally $2.99, now just why anyone would fork out cash for such a useless app I have no idea.

“A Virus protection Mask” does absolutely nothing; it doesn’t protect anything least of all your iPhone. You do get to choose from a dozen coloured masks though if you are gullible enough to purchase it that is. Why the hell Apple allow such crap apps in the App Store is quite a wonder.
