People have for quite some time bee eagerly waiting for the arrival of a GSM version of the Palm Pre smartphone, and not too long ago it happened, but the GSM Palm Pre lacked US 3G.
However, according to precentral, the Wi-Fi Alliance has recently certified a new model of the Palm Pre, and is P100UNA and comes complete with UMTS/HSPA 850/1900 MHz.
Knowing this one would expect the Palm Pre to hit Rogers or AT&T once exclusivity ends with Bell and Sprint, but as Telus is moving to HSPA the palm Pre just may go there first.
