It still remains that Motorola Inc.’s smart phone launch in New York will happen in the fourth quarter. Motorola will have two phones which use Google Inc by the holiday season; this will be with two U.S carriers and numerous carriers overseas.
According to the analyst Motorola smartphones will be focused upon in Europe for upcoming Motorola launches, Motorola is certain it can offer a differentiated Android experience; feedback has been good from carriers too. Motorola hope to see themselves as a successful smartphone vender and this should be seen in the fourth quarter.
The analyst added, it would appear investors are obtaining a “wait and see” attitude to the company before going any further. On Monday afternoon the Schaumburg, Ill.-based company shares dropped by 19 cents, or 2.6%, to $7.07 along with a wider market decline.
