Its something all you BlackBerry Tour owners have been waiting for, and it seems its on its way, although it is only a rumor.

The lad’s at boygenius have been told that the next OS update is on its way for Verizon’s BlackBerry Tour and subsequently we assume the Sprint as well.

The OS release is speculated to be 4.7.1.42, not many major changes as far as we know but we’re hoping that this will fix the random slowing down and the obvious lag problems that a few BlackBerry Tour owners have been experiencing.
