Let’s be honest it’s a bit of a silly question really. The Apple iPhone is selling better than ever now that they are available at different price points and it doesn’t surprise because Apple has shipped some 13.7 million iPhone handsets in 08 according to appleinsider.

Then followed the iPhone 3GS which smashed the world and shipped a staggering 5.2 million handsets in Q2 of 09, and now Tony Sacconaghi, an analyst for Bernstein Resrearch along with Mike Abramsky of RBS Capital Markets this is just the tip of the iPhone iceberg.

According to Sacconaghi, by September 2011 Apple will hit 50 million annual sales of the iPhone, while Abramsky takes thing further and predicts Apple will shift some 82.1 million iPhone handsets in 2012.
