Nokia launches new mobile phone eco-friendly recycle program

Nokia has now launched Give & Grow a Nokia eco-friendly program to reduce carbon gas emissions. The program called “Donate Mobile phones, Grow Trees,” is where Nokia asks people to donate their Nokia mobile phone along with any accessories for recycling into the basic material to make a new mobile handset.

Thus Nokia has formed a partnership with TESS-AMM which focuses on recycling tech, and as compensation for donating your Nokia gear, Nokia and TESS-AMM will fund the NEWtrees program which is held by the World Wildlife Fund Indonesia reports vivanews

According to Bob McDougall, country manager for Nokia Indonesia, donating unused mobile phone and accessories could raise awareness in a small way and we hope the Nokia Give & Grow program in Indonesia will be the start.
