FCC News: HTC Hero now showing, will it launch with Sprint?

Under: Mobile Phones Date: August 21st, 2009

We know of just two types of radios that will be used in the Heros.

The 900 / 2100MHz 3G which is for global use that everyone has so far been using, and now the 850 / 1900 version which is for North America that the FCC’s had the joy of using.

Now they are checking out yet another version of HTC’s Android device with CDMA / EV-DO. This lends extreme credibility to the rumor that Sprint has signed up to launch the phone later this year probably around the same time that it drops the InstinctQ from Samsung. It’ll have the QWERTY and full touch Android angles covered. Good or what? Visit engadgetmobile for more information.
