Well apparently, according to an article on techcrunch, all that is a load of bull, or in their words “either untrue or misleading or both.”
They say Apple not rejecting the Google Voice app is “a total lie,” say unnamed sources that has knowledge of the Google Voice app process. Also they take umbrage over the app hurting the iPhone’s distinctive user experience, which they claim is misleading.
