The guys over at Crackberry have posted a video demo of the new piezo-electric screen tech that has been incorporated into the new Research In Motion BlackBerry Storm 2 smartphone.

We all remember the moans and groans about the “clickable” screen on the original BlackBerry Storm don’t we? Well apparently the piezo-electric screen is different and works better.

Basically here’s how it goes, when the BlackBerry Storm 2 is off the touch screen is solid much like the iPhone, but when you turn it on the piezo-electric tech bounds into action and makes it “clickable” so I guess we’ll see what reception it gets when it launches., you can view the video demo below.
