Its been rumoured that Apple have discontinued their support for legacy Palm OS devices in Mac OS Snow Leopard’s iSync 3.1.0, that’s according to sources who are familiar with the latest Gold Master build.

Palm continue to offer a very old version of Palm Desktop 4.2.1D for Mac users, enabling legacy Palm Centro, Treo, Zire, Tungsten, LifeDrive and Pilot models to synchronize with it’s Mac OS software.

Palm didn’t bother to update the Palm Desktop for Mac software in order to make it compatible with Apple’s iSync, having said that Apple made every effort possible to keep Macs compatible with Palms device, even creating Palm Conduit software that linked the HotSync system into iSync.
