MIU HDPC gets revamped but no sign of launch

Under: Other Mobile Phones
Date: August 26th, 2009

Redesigning a mobile phone can be a cost effective way of gaining new interest in a mobile phone, and this is what has happened with South Korea’s MIU and their HDPC device, HDPC meaning Hybrid Dual Portable Computer.

The MIU HDPC “do everything” device was first brought to the limelight some one and a half years ago, but it still looks like it’s nowhere near launching reports pocketables.

What the redesign now offers is a larger display, HDMI out, three cameras, yes three cameras, integrated GPS, T-DMB turner, 2 operating systems, 2 keyboards, and two processors, but will it ever make it into the mobile world, who knows.
