Sirius XM SkyDock for iPhone first-ever radio dock

It appears that the rumors in this case were in fact true, at an invitation only event held in New York City there has been an official announcement.

The Sirius XM SkyDock for the iPhone and iPod Touch has been debuted. The $119.99 peripheral uses iPhone OS 3’s support for the hardware to transform Apple handsets, into the most amazing satellite radios.

It’s been designed to run off of a car cigarette power adaptor, and the SkyDock even charges iPhone whilst you listen to it, it also works together in concert with Sirius XM iPhone app and has the ability to tag songs for download from iTunes.
