Samsung has now, just 4 months after its official release, announced that their Samsung Star S5230 handset has surpassed the five million sales milestone reports mobiletor.
The Samsung Star S5230 first launched in Europe whereby the handset sold 1 million devises within the first month and a half and apparently sold 700,000 in May and over 900,000 in June. The Samsung Star S5230 was greatly greeted in Europe and sold over 2.8 million handsets and topping market lists in the United Kingdom, France, Italy and the Netherlands.
Spec wise the Samsung Star S5230 sports a 3 inch WQVGA touch screen display, 3.2 megapixel camera with SmileShot, Bluetooth 2.1, FM radio with RDS, DNSe, 50MB internal memory and memory expansion up to 8GB.
