There has been an announcement from Nokia regarding it’s second China specific mobile the Nokia 3208c. It has a touchscreen in order to assist handwriting, like its predecessor the Nokia 6208c, but it doesn’t run on Symbian as we would have expected.
The 3208c runs a S40 5th edition interface and apart from the touchscreen its rather typical of a S40 mid to low end phone. It weighs in at 90 grams and has a 2.4 inch QVGA screen. The handwriting recognition is through a stylus and it also includes a speaker independent voice dialing.
Look out for it soon, its said to be available from Q4 and the Nokia 3208c will be available in both Graphite Black and Pearl White, but its only going to be available in China. No word on the price yet.
