LG Rumor2 launched by Virgin Mobile USA

For those texting lovers over in the United States the LG Rumor2 QWERTY slider handset is now available on prepaid from Virgin Mobile USA according to an article over on lgcentral.

Virgin Mobile USA will offer the LG Rumur2 for $129.99 off contract to prepay customers with Radio Shack kicking off the offer in September and then followed by Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy in October.

Spec reminder for the LG Rumor2…2 inch QVGA display, 1.3 megapixel camera, Opera Mini web browser, Google Maps for Mobile, music player and Bluetooth.

    The phone is just not worth the poor service not to mention the bad network and since Sprint is buying Virgin the network is not going to improve. I got away from Virgin and I’m going to stay far away. I understand they are offering some sort of $10 plan but you don’t qualify unless your on food stamps or some such.

    Virgin and the Rumor? The one rumor I hear about Virgin is that they are now providing wellfare phones and cheap minutes to low-income people. So much for the cool and hip brand I got a phone from. Using my money to give phones to others, Virgin? Why not give me a lower rate?
