Nokia 5800 and 5530 in photo comparison fight off

Under: Nokia
Date: September 2nd, 2009

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic or the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, which would be your choice? Not too sure? Well daily mobile has come up with quite a few images of both the Nokia 5800 and Nokia 5530 handset to help you make that decision.

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is a cheaper version of the Nokia 5800 XpressMsuic and loses the 5800’s WiFi ability. Has a 2 megapixel camera, a 3.2 inch resistive touch display, 3.5mm jack and microSD expansion.

I’m afraid this review is misleading, Wifi is present in the 5530, what it loses is the 3G functionality of the 5800.

Many more errors. XM 5530 has 2.9 inch screen and 3.2 MP camera like the other. It is smaller than older brother.

Got a 5800 a few days ago and I’m disappointed with it.

Navigation is awkward, the touchscreen is hard work at times and I can’t stand my screen full of fingerprints. The stylus avoids this, but pulling it out everytime you want to use the phone for something is a simple no-no for me. Texting is a nightmare on this phone. It just takes way too long to compose even a brief message.

I don’t like the web browser, it’s very poor compared to Opera and Mini Opera.

I have used Nokia phones exclusively since 1998 and this is the first time I have experienced disappointment.

It’s getting traded in. I want buttons and a clean screen again!

i love my 5800. i’ve dropped it about 4 times and i’ve dropped it down the stairs and it still works fine. true tough nokia :)

as for the fingerprints on the screen: you should expect this when you buy it. i find the best thing to clean the screen are paper towels that are usually in work toilets/public toilets for drying hands
