Sprint CDMA HTC Hero Looks more like HTC Magic Makeover

Apparently an image of Sprint’s CDMA version of the HTC Hero has now hit the net waves, and is said by htcpedia to more resemble the HTC magic than the HTC Hero.

Apparently sources have stated that the Sprint HTC Hero Android version has lost the Teflon coating, the futuristic edges, the chin, but is reported to feature a gold detail around the trackball and a two-tone facia.

Obviously the image doing the rounds could well be a Photoshop fake, and no confirmation of any of the reported makeover has been forthcoming from either Sprint or HTC; so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see on this one.

Android phones will most likely not convert any of the Apple faithful, but for the rest of us they are pretty good phones! I’ve got an HTM Magic, and I am really happy with it. I think the Sprint version of the Hero would be awesome. Should get flash, pinch to zoom, and a speedier version of the HTC Sense UI.

The only problem with the current HTC phones is that the processor needs to be a little faster. I’m quite interested in seeing what Motorola are going to provide. The Sholes sounds really good, and the Samsung Galaxy sounds nice too.
