LG to smash market with 3 new Windows Mobile 6.5 phones

Under: LG
Date: September 3rd, 2009

LG has announced the forthcoming launch of 3 new Windows Mobile handsets, and apparently these first three mobile phones kicks of an aggressive strategy whereby LG will launch 13 new LG branded Windows smartphones before the end of 2010 reports newswire.

The 3 handset will be LG’s first Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets; a full touch screen handset, a QWERTY bar handset, and a touch slider with QWERTY keyboard, and will be offered to differing market segments from affordable to premium.

The 3 additions to the LG line up will initially be offered in the United States, Europe and Asia and then globally and will use LG’s S-Class UI, upgraded IE Mobile, Adobe Flash Lite, free access to Microsoft’s My Phone service, Outlook, Windows Media Player and Windows Live.
